Gearwright Workshop

★★★★☆ 4.2 Editor rating

Gearwright Workshop puts you behind the counter of a small repair shop, taking in broken gadgets and fixing them piece by piece. It's a satisfying loop that never needs a connection, and there's no timer breathing down your neck.

The crafting is tactile — you drag parts, match components, and gradually unlock more complex machines and tools. As your shop's reputation grows, harder and stranger jobs come in, which keeps the routine from getting stale.

Progression can feel slow in the middle, and a few late menus are cluttered. But the core satisfaction of fixing something and watching it light up again is real. It's the game we reach for to unwind.
